Henry G. Godfrey, MD

Dr. Henry Godfrey has a special interest in breast cancer detection and treatment. He has worked as a breast surgeon at the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care since 2003, and at the Breast Examination Center of Harlem — a community program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center — since 1980. One of his favorite quotes is by Martin Luther King: “Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane.” When asked why he chooses to work on Saturdays, he responds: “As long as the people come, I come.”
